To post a photo please follow these guidelines.
1. Log in with the login you were given.
2. Click on “Write a New Post” at the right hand end of the orange bar.
3. Type in a title in the “title” box. eg: Photos from India 1990
4. In the post box, enter a short bit of text to describe the photos in more detail.(optional)
5. Click on the first icon on the “Add Media” bar at the top of the post box. A Pop-up screen will appear to guide you through uploading an image.
6. Click on “Choose files to upload”
7. Find and select the photo you want to upload on your hard drive, and click ‘open’. The file will then be uploaded.
8. Once uploaded, give the photo a caption in the “Caption ” box.
9. Select ‘thumbnail’ in the “Size” options.
10. Then click “Insert into Post”.
11. Repeat the process if you wish to add more photos. When finished uploading and inserting, select the ‘Pictures’ category in the “Category” field below the “Post” Box.
12. Finally – if you are happy with what you have done – click on “Publish” (in the grey box on the right hand side of the page) – and you are done.
13. Click on “Visit Site” at the top of the page, and you should see your post/ photos.
Do not worry if you make a mistake or stuff something up. I will be keeping an eye on the site and will fix anything that is a bit skewiff.
